Celebrating 20 Years Of Glow with Pixi Beauty

Hey guys!

I'm a huge fan girl of Pixi Beauty and was fortunate enough to celebrate the brand's 20th Anniversary at the end of 2019. During the last 20 years Pixi have shaken up the beauty and skincare world with their game-changing products. I received a package containing some of their hero products and I wanted to talk about my top picks. Here we glow...

The Dream Skincare Lineup

Eye Reflection Shadow Palette in Natural Beauty contains 12 warm and cool toned shadows that have a fantastic pigment, minimal fallout and are fantastic for travel. The packaging is sleek and lightweight, not bulky or too heavy to carry in your bag should you need to. The shades are very wearable, but there are three other palettes you can choose from if you prefer a different shade range.

One reason we are celebrating 20 years of Pixi is the glow and luminosity their products add to skin. Glow Mist is an all-over glow mist for a radiant, dewy effect. This little dream is packed with 13 natural oils along with Propolis, Aloe Vera and fruit extracts. It can be worn alone or over makeup to set it in place with a dewy, hydrating finish. My favourite way to wear this is mid afternoon when skin needs a refresh. Simply close your eyes and mist over face and neck to add glow and wake skin. The lavender in here is an added bonus, it calms me when I'm at my desk.

We can't do a Pixi round up without mentioning Glow Tonic.
It's no wonder this Toner has won awards for being fantastic. Formulated with 5% Glycolic acid this exfoliates, brightens and smoothes skin. I always apply this prior to moisturiser and I definitely notice a difference in skin texture when I don't use this. The additional Aloe vera helps to soothe skin, meaning it helps leave skin less irritated than some toners.

I am really enjoying more of a glossy lip, I find some matte lip products just leave my lips feeling dehydrated so gloss or balm is currently my preference. LipLift Max is a volume-maximising lip treatment with a cooling sensation and glossy finish. The added Jojoba and Aloe helps to nourish lips and there is a fresh, mint flavour which I really enjoy. There is no burning or tingling sensation and I have worn this on it's own or over a lipstick to add moisture. This is the only product in the lineup I haven't previously tried and it's safe to say it is a certified hero product.

The Rose Infused collection is undoubtedly my favourite skincare collection from Pixi. The scent is simply beautiful and the products are always very soothing on my skin. That's why I'm so happy to see the Rose Ceramide Cream in the lineup. The Rose Flower Oil nourishes and restores skin whilst the Ceramide provides time-release moisture. I like to apply this last thing in the evening as an intense moisture hit but it also absorbs quickly enough to be able to wear underneath makeup.

Endless Silky Eye Pen is another Pixi cult item I have spoken about on my blog before. It is one of the best liners out there and it comes in an impressive 26 shades. Not only is it not harsh to apply or drag against the skin(like Mac. Yeah I SAID IT. That goes for their lip liners too)it is waterproof. I find it really simple to use with a one swipe motion technique.

I must admit that over the last year or so I have pretty much switched from anything matte related on my lips to a creme lip product or a gloss. Some days I only wear a balm and lip liner. But the MatteLast Liquid Lip really is a cult favourite and I get why. This is something I have reviewed before, the entire collection of shades in fact but it deserves a mention. Berry Boost is a deep, plum red that would look great on so many skin tones. The liquid lip lasts but is also comfortable on the lips as the formula is enriched with rose hip oil. Genius!

What are your go to Pixi products?
