H&M Beauty - First Impressions

A brand new H&M store has opened in my local town, complete with beauty section and wonderful home department. So I picked up a couple of items from their beauty range to test out. Here's how I got on.

Metallic Lipstick in Electric Peach | £7.99

For as long as I can remember I have been a slave to a matte lip. This season has seen that trend taking a backseat to make way for metallic, dazzling shades which are great for the festive season.
Rose Gold is a colour trend every girl seems to adore and it just has a very luxe feel, so when I spotted this shade I was instantly sold. It is suggested to be worn alone or over a similar shade lipstick, note that the image below is the lipstick worn alone with two coats applied directly from the bullet. There is no dryness on the lip, only a stunning pop of festive colour. No doubt I'm going to be wearing this frequently this season to Christmas parties and meals.

Cream Fusion Eye Cream in Heat of The Moment | £4.99

Overall I don't own many mousse or cream eye shadows as I tend to have so many great eyeshadow powder palettes. I do however love the effect cream shadows have because they tend to look more dewy and melted into the eyelid.
The formula of this feels so creamy and almost hydrating, but not to the point where it will settle into eyelids. There is a lovely wash of bronze champagne colour followed by some gold flecks which aren't glittery. Swipe this over lids with some black liner and you're good to go.

Have you tried any beauty products from H&M?
