Skincare Roundup!

Hey to all my readers,

Hope your week is going fab!

The weather is changing and I can feel my skin ailments creeping along with it. I'm ready to turn the skincare routine up a notch and here are a few products  I love that are helping me prep for the cooler months.

Oyster Skincare Brightening Eye Serum | Find it here

I hadn't heard of this particular brand previously and I was kindly sent their brightening eye serum to have a play with!
So I have been using this for approximately two weeks and the difference can be seen. Underneath my eyes tends to be dark and sallow looking. This serum aims to brighten, reduce puffiness and fine lines but also add moisture.
The instructions say to pump a small amount onto your middle finger, break the droplet dispensed using your other middle finger then inhale the scent in your cupped hands. This is such an added bonus to inhale the fabulous green tea, raspberry, lavender and mandarin oils. The serum is then patted under the eye and along the brown bone.
Perfect to apply before makeup and I also use this every evening before bed! My undereyes certainly have a more awake, energised appearance after application.

Philosophy Purity made simple 3-in-1 cleanser | find it here

Every evening I double cleanse and I like the second cleanse to really get deep into my skin. Purity is the perfect guy for the job! It cleanses, tones and lightly hydrates as it melts away all makeup like a dream.
I apply a small blob into my hand and massage into my damp skin. I massage it into my skin for around a minute (because it feels dreamy!) and then rinse with warm water, followed my a final cool rinse.
The fragrance free formula is a must if you have dry, sensitive skin like mine. My new favourite cleanser, for sure!

Caudalie Concentrated Brightening Essence | Find it here

So if I'm being totally honest here, I have only recently heard about essences and that they're great for our skin. In fact, it came from my favourite YouTube guru Ingrid Nilsen who swears by using essence on her skin. I received this in a beauty box, Look Fantastic and was intrigued to see if it actually did anything to my skin.
Guys, I don't know what I've been doing without this in my life. After cleansing and toning the face, this can be applied with a cotton pad or directly with your finger tips (I prefer fingertips so I soak up all the products!) I tap it gently into my skin and my skin tone has vastly improved in only a few weeks along with my skin looking much more glowy. Another step for the skincare routine!

Origins Drink Up Intense Overnight Mask| Find it here

Guys, this is my second purchase of this beautiful mask, I don't think I will ever be without it now. It's packed with avocado and apricot, leaving thebskin hydrated and refreshed.
I use this every other evening as I suffer with pretty dry skin, leaving it to work it's magic overnight. It smells divine and doesn't feel remotely greasy or sticky.
Whenever I use this, everything seems to look better about my skin the next day including the tone, texture and softness. A pound coin sized amount tends to cover my entire face, maybe a fraction more when applying to the neck to. A mask with no rinse required is my favourite!
