Cosy At Home November Birchbox review

November's Cosy at Home edition of Birchbox arrived - can we have a round of applause? For £10 per month this box just gets better and better.
Themed around the nights drawing in, cosy blankets and feeling pampered, this box was a delight to receive.

Dr Jart + V7 Balancing Toner | Full Size | RRP £32

Here we have a BIG full size product and one that is definitely a more luxury, higher end product.
The toner comes in a beautiful glass bottle (rather scientific looking!) with a pipette dropper, meaning you dispense the perfect amount onto a cotton pad. I swipe this across my face after cleansing and before my moisturiser.
A product that boasts it is packed full of vitamins and also promises to neutralise asking whilst moisturising at the same time. Something I use first thing in the morning to wake up my skin and prepare it for the days makeup. A beautiful product that leaves skin refreshed and clear - definitely a re-purchase.

Lord & Berry Bronzer miniature in the shade Sienna | RRP £19

I have often heard people speak of Lord & Berry but I myself have never tried anything from their range. This is so highly pigmented, a little definitely goes a long way. Using my real techniques contour brush, I applied this into my cheek contour and swept it up my temples. This, for me, is an ideal shade for a contour. On looking at it, I thought wow this is more of a summer shade but it's a perfect contour shade that lasts and does not look orange.

Beauty Protector Protect & Detangle | RRP £14 for full size

I have used the shampoo and conditioner from this range before and I was totally wowed. I have no idea what the scent is to their products but it is something wonderful (I think I get raspberry and vanilla). Since I'm growing my hair, it becomes very knotty as it gets longer and thicker. Using this when my hair is still wet helps to avoid tangles and I simply comb through with my wide tooth comb. Beautiful product and something that leaves hair smoother after a blast with the hairdryer.

English Laundry EDP by Christopher Wicks / £60 for 50ml

This is one of the last items I looked into and opened in my box, yet it is probably the most beautiful scent I have worn in a long time. As the name suggests, this is a true English country scent that makes me reminisce of cold, crisp walks in the English countryside. Containing rose geranium, creamy white floral notes and base notes of a warm spice. Very beautiful and long lasting, would make a lovely christmas gift.

Welled Wild Rose Body Oil / £19.95 for 100ml

After a workout with my partner (which are few and far between in the winter months) we often like to have a massage time with some chilled out music and relax each other, so this would be ideal for those at home spa times. I tried this on stepping out of a hot bath and it left my skin supple and smelling sweet in a more adult way. Containing sweet almond oil and wild rose oil this is is wonderfully nourishing and can be used on both the face and body.

Montezuma's Organic smooth milk chocolate bar / £2.39

This was my lifestyle extra this month and made me happy sat at my desk at work! They say this is made from the finest, organic cocoa beans and it definitely shines through in the taste. Rich and creamy, luxury chocolate with a more sophisticated taste.
