Stars & Stripes Glossybox

I always eagerly await the delivery of my Glossybox, but this month I was particularly excited for the themed box! July's box is the Stars & Stripes edition and it's packed full with treats from our neighbours across the pond in the US of A!

I placed this at the top of my list to talk about first because it is hands down the best mascara I have ever used. Yes, that is a pretty huge title to give but it is fabulous and I can't sing it's praises enough. I have heard wonderful things about the brand Tarte and I already have a long list of things to buy from them when I visit America later this year.
The packaging is like nothing I have ever seen, it almost looks like a neat little pouch. This lengthens, holds curl, thickens and conditions all in one. I tend to have lashes that lay flat even after curling but this definitely elevates them. Olive esters are also infused in the formula to treat lashes and protect. The full size of this is 7ml at £19.50 and the sample received is 4ml! An absolute fantastic surprise in this months box.

This is the most perfect lipstick to receive at this time of year! I can totally see why this is on the pricier side as the colour pay  off is amazing. It's a punchy orange shade that pairs perfectly with a tan and smells sweet, perhaps like vanilla. I still can't quite put my finger on the scent but it tastes good enough to eat. All around perfect lipstick and I love the faux quilted packaging.

Carmex lip balm | RRP £2.60

Honestly, who doesn't love a new lip balm? I think I will be saving this for my holiday as lip balm in the form of sticks tend to melt in the heat, so in a neat little tub this will be ideal. I also love the little minty, menthol kick this has.

Absolute New York Perfecting Eyeshadow Primer
 | RRP $4.99

This is a brand I have never heard of and the description only states it's available in dollars so I think this is a product only purchasable in America. I applied this in the morning before my eyeshadow and it gave a lovely base for my shadow to cling to. It also gave a light coverage and seemed to conceal any discolouration. Nice product and I am always in need of a new eye primer!

Another product I have never heard of, yet reminds me of Essie (did I hear someone say "dupe"?). The colour is an inky, muted blue and would be something ideal for autumn but perhaps not so much now, as I am more inclined to reach for brighter shades. I'm thinking in the colder months, teamed with a grey knitted jumper this would look beautiful and I will definitely find a match for it. The colour received is called Glossy Seal and was an exclusive for Glossybox, which is pretty cool.

I have thoroughly loved this month's box and I think Glossybox are definitely at the top of the subscription box game! I intend to up-cycle this months box and use it to store little memories inside from my trip to Florida that is coming up in September!
