Okay, it’s time for honesty. Finding your skincare routine can be a tough journey to navigate. Figuring out your skin type, learning what works for you and knowing when to apply your products can seem like a daunting task.

The INKEY List aim to provide a no-frills skincare routine that does exactly what it says on the label. There are no confusing product names, ingredient jargon and most importantly - no expensive price tag!

The team at The INKEY List are dedicated to guiding, empowering and delivering knowledge on skincare and haircare (Yes, they also do incredible haircare!)

Knowledge Powers Change” is their latest campaign, fuelled by the belief that knowledge powers better decisions

Their website features a recipe builder where you answer questions such as your skincare goals and skin type. This then blends a personalised skincare AM to PM recipe specifically for you. Genius!

I was lucky enough to build my very own skincare and hair recipe with the genius gang at The INKEY List. Here’s what my personalised routine consists of.

A gel formula cleanser suitable for AM and PM, that helps rid skin of uneven skin tone and banish a dull complexion. It contains Nordic Peat which is naturally high in Fulvic Acid and is a strong antioxidant with anti-inflammatory properties. It’s actually very gentle on my skin and removes makeup well.

Ideal for tired morning eyes and late night sleepy eyes, this lightweight eye cream hides a multitude of sins. Caffeine is a natural antioxidant and helps the appearance of puffiness. Good all rounder this one.

This was a new addition to my routine and it’s a keeper. It’s a super hydrator and I apply this prior to moisturiser. A pea sized amount applied to face and neck helps to lock in moisture. A top tip I learnt from The INKEY List is to mix with your foundation for a long lasting base!

An easily absorbed serum applied immediately after cleansing and an absolute hero product. When applied to damp skin, it works even harder at locking in moisture. A total powerhouse for dehydrated skin.

This little keeper isn’t as scary as some people think. Used at night, it absolutely is key to tackling the signs of ageing. It works to minimise the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles but also brighten dark spots. I normally follow with moisturiser to inject a little hydration after use.

A top tip from The INKEY List is to use this before Retinol to prevent irritation, on more sensitive skin types. This serum is useful for all skin types and can reduce redness, remove excess oil and calm irritation.

Ideal everyday moisturiser that is really suitable for every skin type. Symbright is produced through the fermentation of the plant clary sage and kakadu plum extract. It makes skin instantly appear brighter and healthier. The silky texture gets top marks from me.

A pre-wash treatment that helps to remove itchiness and flakes from the scalp. I suffer with a dry scalp and sometimes it’s aggravated. Exfoliating the scalp is a must to remove product build up and any dead skin (yes gross, but also necessary).

We all love a nifty spray bottle and this product doesn’t disappoint. This post-wash, fine spray mist works to repair, strengthen and protect locks. As my hair is bleached, it can sometimes feel on the drier side. Using this on towel dried hair helps my hair feel softer and banishes frizz.

What will you be adding to your routine?
