7 brands to try this Veganuary

*Contains gifted items but all views are my own*

Here’s the thing. Whether you like it or not veganism and it’s popularity is growing, it’s not going anywhere. Not only are people more conscious of the meat and dairy industry, we’ve more aware of the ingredients and manufacturing of everyday products we use too. Unsurprisingly, brands are adapting to meet the consumers want for cruelty free and vegan products. I’m so here for it (and the animals are pretty happy about it too!)

FYI, a vegan product means it hasn’t been tested on animals and contains no animal ingredients or by-products such as beeswax, honey or milk. Plus, the less commonly known glycerine, collagen, gelatine or retinol or colours such as cochineal red, which also comes from animal by products.

If you're giving Veganuary a go or are maybe trying to adopt a more animal friendly lifestyle I'd like to say thank you (from me and the animals!)

Today I'm sharing some vegan finds in the form of home fragrance, beauty and edible treats.

Hotel Chocolat Vegan Sleekster
All the power of cocoa, no added milk
Hotel Chocolat really are an elite chocolate brand and I'm not surprised the vegan range is equally as tempting.

The “Unbelievably Vegan” came to me as a gift at Christmas and it’s truly delectable.

NeuroSkinFeeds™
NeuroSkinFeeds products are vegan, 100% natural and cruelty-free. Did I mention perfect for sensitive skin?

I was recently sent their Micro Oil  and I’ve been using it religiously for around two months. It’s an antioxidant-rich oil that aims to improve your skin and your mood.

Every morning and evening after cleansing and toning, but before moisturiser, I press 1-2 drops of the oil into my skin. The oil absorbs into my skin relatively quickly with a bit of time spent massaging into my face using my fingertips.

Glamwax
I received a delicious smelling box of melts from this home fragrance brand from a friend at Christmas.

Glamwax produce beautifully scented soy wax melts that ship direct to your door. The scent throw is surprisingly strong from just 1 or 2 melt pieces. Creamy Cocoa is delicious!

Vieve Cosmetics
YouTube sensation and makeup artist Jamie Genevieve released her own makeup line towards the end of last year. Since I wasn't in the market for yet another eyeshadow palette, I opted to try the Modern Matte Lip Definer in Velvet Sands and Modern Matte Lipstick in Vieve Vieve.

When I'm opting to look a bit more put together (which has probably been twice in the last 12 months) I like a neutral, plump looking lip. Both the liner and the lipstick are a comfortable matte formula and offer an opaque finish. They didn't cling to dry patches and paired together are my perfect nude combo.

Frank Body Original Coffee Scrub
During the colder months, my skin is crying out for a scrub that's really going to get rid of the dry, dead skin. I need all the help I can get during winter.

This scrub contains the perfect blend of coffee, vitamin e and antioxidant-rich oils. It leaves my skin softer, more even and even a little bit perkier. Did I mention it smells like orange frappucino?

Plant Kitchen Marshmallows by M&S
Marks & Spencer have an extensive vegan range in their food hall. I'm a fan of their Marshmallows which are great for cooking, dipping in chocolate or popping on top of a dairy free coffee.

Lush Twilight Spray
One of my favourite scents from Lush come from the Sleepy range. This lavender, tonka and ylan ylang spray is something I use everyday. Spritzing onto my bedding before I go to sleep is my go to for catching zzz's

Available here

Lush Sleepy Soap
Another favourite from the sleepy range, this is ultra soothing and calming. My skin always feels soft after use and again is preferable before bedtime.

Available here

Lush Sleepy Bubble Bar
This contains the same fragrance notes as the Twilight spray. It makes me cringe when I think back to the days when I was so naive and would throw an entire bath bomb or bubble bar into my bath. You really only need a crumble of this in order to create a bubble-filled bath. Top Tip: chop them up and keep them in a resealable bag for next time!
