Pixi MatteLast Liquid Lip and creating my own custom shade!

This month I received a surprise package from the beauties at Pixi Beauty containing their FULL RANGE of MatteLast Liquid Lip. Now as if this isn't exciting enough, there was a little added extra.. I have mixed, created and named my very own MatteLast Liquid Lip for Pixi and is in the running for future addition to the collection.

Keep reading to see the shade I made..

I remember when Matte Lips became a serious situ and everyone and their dog had a matte lip collection out. Throughout the years I have tried a whole heap of matte lip products and so many of them are just far too uncomfortable for me to wear on my lips without them flaking and drying out. Pixi on the other hand have nailed their formula so hard. Each shade is infused with Rosehip Oil, so whilst the shade sets down to a matte, smudge proof formula it is hydrating and leaves lips looking beautiful and smoothe.
The doe foot applicator is teardrop shaped and allows you to fill in your lips neatly - meaning no need for lip liner!

Which shades are your favourite? It's too tough to choose but if I had to I'd opt for Orange Red & Pastel Petal!

Petra for Pixi will be selecting one shade as her inspiration for future addition to the MatteLast Liquid Lip Collection. I couldn't think of anything more dreamy than my shade being chosen by Pixi and people actually wearing it, working it and loving it!

Using the brown, red, white and yellow shades provided in their Pixi pots, I scooped my first colour into the empty Pixi pot provided and started mixing away with the mini spatula. The shades I gravitate towards tend to be deeper shades that are cooler toned, but have an impact. You can find the full collection here

HERE SHE IS... My custom mixed Pixi MatteLast Liquid Lip shade....

A beautiful muted, dark nude shade with a hint of berry. I named her Scribbles, of course.
