Festival Vibes with George at Asda

During the summer months, I love a complete switch up of my wardrobe and makeup look. Everybody loves a good festival (I mean, unless you’re me and you cry if you’re stuck in a tent, in a muddy field) and even more the style that festivals bring. Every year, I see people looking absolutely INSANE at Coachella and it gives me so much inspiration to create looks.

On Monday 7th May George at Asda release their new Mexicana range and everything looks so perfect for summer and festival season!
I was kindly sent this embroidered tassel blouse from the range (complete with cute pom-poms!) and so into it. Teamed with a pair of denim cut offs and a cool fedora hat, this is a simple but cool outfit. It’s such a relaxed fit and the material fits losely across my body. I opted for a size 12 as it’s a little oversized. Tucked into shorts or even used as a beach coverup, I think it’s a key piece for my summer wardrobe.
Find it here for only £20

George at Asda not only stock some awesome clothing but they also have a makeup range (I had no idea!). I was lucky enough to receive a few pieces from there range including eyeshadow, loose pigment, liquid lip, highlight and baked blusher.

My makeup look below was created using all five of the products above. I used the blue shadow to smoke on my lower lash line, but found it worked best when I wet my brush beforehand to deliver a brighter pop of colour. Possibly my favourite product of the entire collection is the highlight stick as it delivers a swipe of sheen as opposed to glitter. A swipe along the top of cheekbones and down the centre of my nose works so well to catch the light. The pigment could be used as a highlight also as it’s a super pretty rose gold shade but my preference was again using a wet brush and packing it across my lid. It really complimented the blue shade well. The metallic lip was actually surprisingly comfortable to wear and didn’t dry my lips out. The final touch was the baked blush that just added a rosy glow to my cheeks!
Note: I added the face tattoos and gems I had from a sheet last summer and you can pick them up in Primark or Claire’s.

I hope you enjoyed my post and don’t forget to check out the Mexicana collection here
