Happy Birthday Letter To Myself & Bakerdays Letterbox Birthday Cake Review!

Hi Guys!
As the tile suggests, today is my 27th Birthday and I wanted to write myself a little “note to self” reminder of how I started my year in comparison to how I’m finishing it.

But before I do, let me share with you my wonderful birthday cake complete with my blog header and marble background. Isn’t it dreamy?

Bakerdays are a personalised cake, cupcake and balloon company based in Nottinghamshire and they specialise in baking, printing and personalising cakes and cupcakes for all occasions.

We all know how frustrating it can be waiting in for a parcel or delivery,  that’s why Bakerdays Letterbox Cake is such a genius concept. All you have to do is pop onto https://www.bakerdays.com/ choose your flavour (there’s traditional sponge, chocolate or even red velvet!) and you could even opt for a dairy free option! There are heaps of intricate designs to choose from or you can simply request your own design!

The cake comes packaged neatly within a cake tin and measures 12cm diameter x 2.5cm high, and can be cut into 4-6 slices depending on how willing you are to share! I even received a sweet little Christmas cracker alongside my cake which I thought was a lovely touch.

For those birthdays when you’re unsure of what to buy someone, or just as a little token of congratulations to a friend, a Letterbox cake is perfect.

Prices start from only £14.99 which I think is ace value for a personalised present.

Time for my letter...

Happy Birthday!
I wanted to write this as a reminder of what it felt like to be 27. The oldest you have been so far and you think you know a heap of stuff when really, you don’t know it all just yet.

Here’s a reminder of a few things.

  1. Take chances. Sometimes it’s okay to throw caution to the wind and grab an opportunity. Some of the best moments in life have landed your way during these times.
  2. Don’t be so hard on yourself. Eat the bar of chocolate if you fancy it. If you make a mistake at work, don’t beat yourself up. If your latest write up isn’t how you thought it would be, don’t panic!
  3. Be grateful. For simply being here and inhaling this day. Be grateful for your unruly hair and slightly crook d bottom teeth. Even be grateful for the people who have been mean or rude to you, they have shaped who you are and how you choose to live.
  4. Carry on dreaming. At the start of the year, your blog was a quiet little piece of your life and you didn’t expect it to be half as full of ideas and engagement as it is today. You created it so keep dreaming it.

Love from a 27 year old female
