Birchbox June 2014

So who said us ladies can't be excited for the world cup? Birchbox subscription box this month stars products from around the globe, all nestled in a Brazil colour themed drawstring bag. I had heard a few sneaky previews about this month's box and was desperate to see if it lived up to my expectations. If you're still awaiting your box, don't read any further! But if you're intrigued to find out what I got, continue reading...

BeautyBlender & BlenderCleanser Solid RRP from £16 - USA

This is the first thing I pulled out of the bag, I was absolutely ecstatic to find this product. This topped off an all round wonderful box, and was the absolute cherry on the cake. I have the Real Techniques Blender, which is rather a good budget blender. Beauty Blender has the ability to give your skin a very flawless, seamless finish and is particularly intriguing when wet, as it expands to twice the size. The tapered end is ideal for blending out concealer under the eyes and on blemishes, whilst using a bouncing technique against the skin. I am yet to try the cleanser, but it can be used for brushes swell as the Beauty Blender. What a wonderful pair of products to receive, absolutely thrilled!

Yves Rocher Sheer Botanical Lipstick RRP £9.90 - France

This was my second favourite product this month, a beautiful punchy lipstick which has a sheer gloss-like texture, in the shade in Coral Doux. It gives a lovely gloss like effect on the lips and is a summer ready orange shade. With moisturising cherry oil, this is ideal to keep lips smooth in the summer heat. This is easy to apply and doesn't require a lip liner, not at all matte, just hydrating.

NAOBAY Body Radiance Lotion RRP £14 Full Size - Spain

I am collecting up these sample sized products as they are so ideal for summer holidays to pack away in your suitcase. This is a 30ml tube, a decent size for a sample I thought! After applying, my skin felt soft and not at all sticky, it's a nice light lotion ideal for hot summer days. I thought this smelt like lemongrass, however, it contains shea butter, avocado and olive oil, which are perfect to inject some moisture into dry skin like mine.

Embryolisse Lait Crème Concentraté RRP Full Size from £12.99 - France

A small sample of a cult moisturiser which I hadn't really heard much about. This can be used as  daily moisturiser but is durable and can be used as several different products.
* A face mask when built up
* Facial cleanser
*Make up remover
* Primer
I applied this first thing in the morning as a moisturiser after cleansing my face and it sank right into my skin, enabling me to apply my foundation fairly soon after. Yet another lovely skincare product from France!

OPI The Brazil Collection Nail Lacquer in AmazON AmazOFF RRP £11.95 - Brazil/USA

This is a vibrant, jungle green nail varnish that is inspired by Brazil's tropical rainforests. I have a fair few OPI polishes and I'm never disappointed with the way they apply or the staying power. I have no polish similar to this, but I am feeling it more for the autumn season as opposed to spring/summer. I would be interest to try some of the other colours in the Brazil collection, especially "Next stop... The bikini zone" which is a metallic, two tone silver/green varnish.

I also received this cute little flip flop Brazil colour themed keyring, which was a lovely little bonus to receive in my box which i will be attaching to my beach bag this summer.

Birchbox have definitely scored with this box for June, top marks!
