Pixi Pretties Collection Review

Pixi beauty has released a new collection called PixiPretties featuring collaborations from three of our favourite influencers Dulce Candy, Chloe Morello and Weylie Hoang. The collection features a selection of beautiful palettes and everything you need for a glowing, pretty spring look.

Pixi X Weylie Hoang Dimensional Eye Creator | £22 | Find it here

This is possibly my favourite from the entire collection, as you receive both the palette and the liner duo for the very reasonable price of £22. All about creating the perfect eye, it’s everything I would use for my signature earthy, warm toned eye. The compact, travel-friendly palette is perfect to take on holiday or for in your makeup bag and the dual kohl/liquid liner lasts me all day long.
The earthy shadow shades are my preferable shades and are very blendable, leaving no fallout behind. A twist up kohl liner is always fool proof and no need for a sharpener!

Palette Chloette | £28 | Find it here

Chloe’s inspiration behind this palette was love and romance, filled with everything you need for a soft, just-kissed flush. The blush shades are what I love most from the palette and are ultra silky to touch. The shadows are very wearable shades with a lighter shade and a crease shade, including a bottom trio of liner shades that can also double up as brow powder. A  very versatile palette that would be handy for travel this summer.

Lip Icing | £16 | Find it here

I am SO over matte lip and just lately have only been wearing lip balm or a moisturing tinted lip colour because I just haven’t enjoyed the feeling of anything drying on my lips. The name “Lip Icing” is just so appropriate, it leaves lips truly iced and looking delicious. To be worn alone or on top of a lipstick, this enhances lips with a wet, shimmery look that isn’t remotely sticky and has added rose hip & marula oil to hydrate!

CafĂ© conDulce | £28 | Find it here

This palette contains a range of gleaming powder to cream shades which can be worn on eyes to make them really pop or to enliven your complexion. 9 multi use shades make this another ideal for on the go. My favourite uses for the shades are to pop the lighter shades in the corner of my eyes and to swipe the bronze shades over cheeks for an instant radiance boost. The span sizes are very generous in this palette too!

Dulces Lip Candy | £28 | Find it here
The second palette from Dulce features an assortment of creamy shades that are suitable for both lips and cheeks, with the formula containing minerals and antioxidants to ensure skin remains soft and hydrated. The colours in this palette are fairly natural shades and would be wearable for anybody, from pastel colours to brighter ones for the transition from spring to summer. It felt comfortable on my lips and works well as a tint with the lip icing added on top for a lovely sheen.

Below is a look I used using shades from each of the palettes, the eyeliner and the lip icing.
