Today’s post is letting you all know my thoughts after my discovery of perfume subscription, Secret Scent Box. Unlike makeup , I’m not fiercely tied or loyal to any particular brands when it comes to my choice of perfume. As the seasons change, I like to mix up my scents and explore different brands, of course I have a couple of favourites but generally I am open to exploration when it comes to fragrance. This is why Secret Scent Box appealed to me so much and when they reached out to me and offered to send me their June Edition, I jumped at the chance.
If you’re new to the concept of subscription boxes, Secret Scent Box is a monthly subscription box that contains three vials of sample fragrances, which promise 30 days of scent. With the June Edition box I received DKNY, Dior and Davidoff scents, with a description card for each outlining the notes within each.

My Overall Verdict
For someone who isn’t dedicated to one particular fragrance and likes to experience a variety of new scents, this box is ideal. There is nothing worse than purchasing a fragrance on a whim after a quick spritz in a department store, before figuring out if it suits you or wears well on you. The fact that I can trial a perfume before committing to it is a concept that I like. When the box itself first arrived my first thoughts were how small it was but then I later thought actually I don't need a heap of excess packaging (and that's what makes it so letterbox friendly). If like me you don't have that signature scent and like variety in your life, Secret Scent Box would be a great subscription option.
