September Glossybox - Designed by Karen Millen

When the rumours began to circulate that Karen Millen had designed the box for this month, I could not wait to receive it. It is a chic taupe/grey shade with a beautiful London design that drips off the edge of the box. Simply beautiful! I wasn't one of the lucky ten to receive the £100 gift voucher for Karen Millen, but I soon got over that after opening up my box and playing with the goodies!

Loreal Professionnel Mythic Oil 45ml | £15.95 for 125ml
First thing that strikes me about this oil is it is not as thick and gloopy as most hair oils. It's one of the few hair oils that is thin and feels like it would not weigh hair down as much as usual hair oils. This has a really unique scent which I can't quite put my finger on, but is invigorating and I will definitely be using this within my hair routine.

Nivea 3 in 1 Micellar Cleansing Water 200ml | £4.07 for 200ml
This is probably one of the most useful items I received this month and will be something I will use everyday. Claiming to cleanse, remove all makeup and moisturise in one step, this is a new favourite. Having sensitive skin that becomes irritated easily, Micellar waters are something I enjoy using in my skincare routine. I squeeze this onto a cotton pad, swipe one side over my face and one side across my eyelids after washing my face and it removes the last traces of makeup. Nivea is a cult skincare brand and I thought this was a fab addition in my box this month.

Nails Inc Westminster Bridge Matte Top Coat Full Size| £12 for 10ml

I have no idea why, but I feel this top coat is going to be ideal for Autumn/Winter manicures. I suppose I associate the word "matte" with those seasons - matte skin, matte lips, matte nails? Maybe it is just me but I think my favourite varnishes in deep, brooding shades will look beautiful with a matte finish that will look chic and give a new look to an old varnish

SkinPep Enzyme and Acid Peel and Eye Cream 3.5ml x2 & 2ml | Peel £89.99 for 180ml & Eye Cream £44.99 for 15ml
The above items are the smallest of the 5 products I received and yet I am probably most excited about these! I have been scaling the shops for a miniature face mask or peel I can use for my in flight routine on my long haul flight to America this upcoming weekend, and these little beauties are going to be so ideal! The peeling gel is packed with pineapple and papaya extracts which are ideal to exfoliate the face to reveal softer and brighter skin! The eye cream is a dark circle problem-solver that is packed with anti oxidants which boost the collagen levels underneath the delicate eye area.

ModelCo More Brows Fibre Gel Full size 3.5ml | £14.95 for 3.5ml

This happened to be my least favourite product of the month which really disappoints me to say. ModelCo are a wonderful brand - I have used their makeup products before and I happen to think their lip liners are fabulous - but Glossybox made a faux pas with this. They sent  me the shade medium/dark when my beauty profile states I have blonde hair. Well, I gave it a go and needless to say I looked like a clown. The shade is just far too dark for me which really saddens me because the product itself is lovely! The brush is teeny tiny and the formula dries from wet in seconds. Luckily, my mom has dark hair so she has scooped this up!

Overall, I have loved this month's box and every product will go to good use (even the too-dark brow gel!)
