Lancôme City Miracle CC Cream SPF 50|£27 for 30ml
I am all about the "no makeup" makeup look right now and have been scaling the beauty aisles for a CC cream that isn't wishy washy and doesn't need a foundation applied over the top mask any blemishes. On a hunt in Debenhams, I discovered this little beauty sat upon the Lancôme counter. Overall, I haven't been convinced by the whole BB/CC trend and have felt I always need to rely on a good old fashioned foundation for my skin come rain or shine. How wrong I was!
This is the first CC cream Lancôme have introduced to the world and it sure has been worth the wait. Tested in some of the world's most polluted cities to trial it's skin defence, this product also boasts an SPF 50 and promises to correct skins imperfections whilst still giving a natural look. Hydration, illumination, perfection all within one tube.
The colour is 01 which I believe is Peach, after thinking it may be too light it is actually ideal, even giving my skin a slight warm glow without being orange. I applied this product with my finger tips to give a more natural finish to the skin, even though you could apply with a brush or beauty blender if you wanted. For my holiday next moth, this is going to be ideal and give my skin enough coverage and protection without having that full faced, obvious foundation look.
Overall, I would like to say thanks to Lancôme, I am now a CC convert after discovering CC does not mean you have to forsake flawless, illuminated, beautiful skin!
